Beginning with August 16, 2012 renewals, continuing education requirements for ALL agents will be a total of 24 hours. The breakdown for single or dual license types is as follows:
Single licenses need 21 hours relating to line of insurance AND 3 hours in Ethics/Laws.
Dual licenses need 10 hours in Life/Health, 11 hours in Property/Casualty AND 3 hours in Ethics/Law
Expiration dates are on the 16th of each month and completed credits must be reported to the state department one month prior to expiration date.
Course provider is responsible for reporting course completion to the state.
Exams must be monitored by a disinterested third party.
Excess credit hours may not be carried forward.
Courses are repeatable every renewal period.

After completing and submitting exam online, a downloadable version of the Affidavit for Test Administrator form must be printed out from the computer which the exam was taken and signed by the proctor.

Upon receipt of the Affidavit, you will be given access to print out the certificate of completion for the course that was succesfully completed.
Credits for completion of course will be submitted by roster via Online System to the Hawaii Insurance Division once a week on Wednesdays.
