Producers are required to complete a minimum of 24 hours of continuing education every 2 years (based on last day of birth month)
Biennial Birth Month Renewals for Insurance Producers, Limited Lines Producers, Title Agents and Surplus Lines Licensees
Exams must be monitored by a disinterested third party.
24 excess credit hours may be carried forward to the next renewal period.
Courses are repeatable every 2 years. The same courses can be repeated in a different compliance period.
Course provider is responsible for reporting course completion to the state.
If producer does not complete their credits on time, they have one year within the license renewal date to complete required continuing education credits and pay the lapsed license fee of $165.00.
Failure to comply with C.E. requirement within 1 year of expiration date results in loss of license, producer must reapply as new applicant.

After completing and submitting exam online, a downloadable version of the Affidavit for Test Administrator form must be printed out from the computer which the exam was taken and signed by the proctor.

Upon receipt of the Affidavit, you will be given access to print out the certificate of completion for the course that was succesfully completed.
Credits for completion of course will be submitted by roster via email to appropriate state insurance department or credit processing firm.
